Joining the cast of Teaching While Black

An ambitious, young activist lands a coveted professorship at a large, predominantly white university in the American heartland. Little does she know the twists and turns her life will take when Teaching While Black.

I’m thrilled to join the cast of this very funny pilot episode, filming this summer in New Jersey. Written by Donnetrice Allison and co-created directed by Aaron Moss, this project has everything I love— a great story, talented and diverse cast and creatives, and that all important opportunity for me to get in costume and act a fool.
